WHAT IS POT?

TERRITORIAL RATING PLAN

The Territorial Rating Plan (in spanish Plan de Ordenamiento Territorial POT)  Is a technical and legal document that regulates the way we use and occupy the territory along our locate. As a technical document determinates the aims and goals of the planning physical development of the territory and land use. As a Norm obligates to the District Administration and citizens to use the Capital's territory in the way it has been decided.

In brief the POT is the document which tells us how we have decided to live in Bogotá in our locate and what we want to do with our territory.

WHY TO  CHECK THE POT?

The Territorial Rating Plan as a result of the discussion about goals, ways and expectations of the territory ocupation, must be checked periodically according to the changes of our society.

As our gouls and expectations around the Locate order as the problems and challenges that arise during the planning process and land use, make the POT to be checked.
